DIOPS to Set Glasses Trend for 2006

The 5th Daegu International Optical Show(DIOPS) will be held in February 2006 in Daegu, one of the world's top four spectacles producers. The show is expected to lead the trend in the world's glasses market.
DIOPS 2006 will be one of the world's largest glasses fairs, with 150 companies from 11 countries, including 100 Korean ones, in attendance. Germany, Japan and China will have their own pavilions.
The show forecast to become the major buying market for glasses in the globe, with more than 500 overseas buyers from at least 20 countries and 10,000 or more Korean buyers. Prior registration has been completed by more than 250 buyers from 18 countries, including the US, Japan and Italy.
