Job Fair Daegu & Kyungbook

Job Fair Daegu & Kyngbook that mediated corporations and job-seekers was held in April. 60 enterprises showcased in 80 booths and seven thousand job-seekers visited to get their jobs, reflecting poor economy and high unemployment rate. Job-seekers gathered to the booths of well known and robust corporations; LG Philips LCD, Samrip Industry, Donga Department store, and Daegu Department store, seeking chances of interviews.

Tour EXPO Daegu

Daegu tour EXPO was an opportunity the show the world Daegus tourist potential. Under the motto of uplifting the image of Dalgubul, nick name for Daegu, the tourist city,120 tourism corporations participated in this event. Local autonomous districts in and around Daegu had their own information and publicity centers and held events of their own.

Daegu Art EXPO 2003

Daegu Art EXPO 2003 has been the biggest art fair of the country that was held to celebrate Daegu Summer Universiade 2003, which was open 100 days before the sports festival.

The galleries in Korea, Japan, and China exhibited works of 200 renowned artists, providing opportunities for the visitors to relish and buy refined artifacts. Special art events were held to celebrate Daegu Universiade; display of posters and printings, new image art, and special craft artifacts.

Daegu international food industry exhibition

120 food, drinks, liquor, equipment manufacturers exhibited their products in this event. This has been the biggest food industry exhibition ever held in southern part of the country, in which 30 thousand visited, revealing a huge interest in the food products and the industry. Food business runners, restaurant owners were invited to the show to enliven on-the- scene contracts. Participants appraised this show for contributing to the modernization of the local food industry.

Daegu International Oriental Medicine Show

Many attempts to industrialize Asian Medicin were presented in this exhibition,in which Asian medical material and medical tools were displayed.

Daegu pet dog EXPO

Cutty Doggies performed eye-catching, sophisticated feat at the competition that took place in the Daegu pet dog EXPO 2003. One thousand pet dogs, along with their owners and pet industry people, shown up in this event.
