DIOPS strives to get international accreditation (UFI)

The Daegu International Optical Show (DIOPS), which was held this year, is currently vying for international accreditation (UFI). There is a high probability that it will get it. Daegu's international accreditation with UFI takes on a more meaningful relevance for the company because this November, DIOPS is expected to have 700 booths, 100 more than last year, which will represent optical exhibitors from the Asia-Pacific region.

A Venue of Events such as the main press center of 'The 2003 Daegu Summer Universiade'

Since it opened in 2001, EXCO Daegu held the Junior Chamber International and the Asian & Pacific Council' (JCI ASPAC), an international event. It will also host significant events such as 'the 10th Korea-China Amity Korea-China Businessmen's Meeting in 2002, the Korea-Japan Businessmen's Conference in April 2002. Moreover EXCO Daegu is appointed as the main press center (MPC), the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) and a fencing competition field of the 2003 Summer Universiade in August 2003. Although the rate of use was 26% in 2001, its opening year, this rate will increase to 40% in 2002, dramatically improving its earnings as well.
