Geography |

Daegu is located in about 80
km inland from the East Sea. Some parts of the northeast
and south of Daegu are mountainous areas, and westward
is relatively open basin.
Sincheon Stream runs from the east to west through the
city and joins the Geumho river and it also joins the
Nakdong river in the southwest
For its climate, it is very dry most of the year except
for the summer rainy season. The temperature differece
through a year is extreme and the change of seasons is
very rapid.
